

If you choose a sale and rent back scheme, prior to exchanging contracts on your property, Rent My House Back will confirm to you, in writing, the length of time you can remain living in your home under the terms and conditions of the sell and rent back scheme. You will be able to continue living in your home for a minimum period of five years on an Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement, although we will issue such a tenancy agreement every twelve months within the five year period, to confirm your monthly rental payments.
The Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement is issued on an annual basis, to ensure you are always paying a local market rent. Rent My House Back will always carry out the necessary research to make sure this is the case, by contacting up to three letting agents in your local area.
Although you sign an agreement stating the minimum rental period of five years, Rent My House Back would like to confirm that you may continue living in your home for as long as you require under the terms of our sell and rent back agreement. We will continue to renew your tenancy every five years, unless advised differently by yourself or you fail to pay your monthly rent.
