Rent My House Back was one of the first sell and rent back companies to be authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).

The FSA have decided that regulation of the industry was important to ensure that the rights of customers are fully protected when they sell and rent back their house. Companies working within the sale and rent back market must comply with the strict guidelines set out by the FSA to safeguard the interests of customers.

Mr Steven Martin, the Managing Director of Rent My House Back, has welcomed the regulation of the industry and has always taken great pride in treating customers fairly, even before regulation was brought into force.
