What's Involved

Our Process

The sell and rent back process is designed to allow you to sell your home whilst still living in it. You then rent your house back at a local market rent on a five year tenancy agreement.   You also receive any remaining equity after clearing your secured charges on your property.

Selling your house to rent it back shouldn't have to be a last resort, in fact, it is often a much needed escape from increasing debts interest rates, etc, etc.

What do you need to do?

Just follow these 3 simple steps:

  1. Get in touch with us on 0800 5999 000. A member of staff will then discuss and take all necessary details regarding your current situation and would explain to you the full process.
  2. If, at this point you would like to proceed, we will undertake a survey which will be carried out by an RICS Chartered Surveyor..
  3. Upon receipt of the report we will arrange an appointment at the property for our own inspection and also discuss the remainder of the sell and rent back process to you. We will present you a copy of the report at this point and confirmation of our offer based on the surveyors comments and our own inspection.

All the paperwork is handled by a member of the Rent My House Back staff.  If you choose to use one of the panelled solicitors, our staff will also aid in the completion of the solicitors forms, and here is the best part, we pay the solicitors fees.
